Riverside River House and Cabana

The River House is nested on the South shore of the pristine Clearwater River right close to the take out for our famous Lava Canyon river rafting trip in Wells Gray Provincial Park.

We offer a private secluded waterfront property, vacation rental that will let you relax to the fullest and go explore the Park. The covered South facing deck overlooking the river will give you a real retreat feeling as well as the cedar built home with 3 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen and beautiful dinning area. The North facing covered deck allows you to take shelter on those super warm afternoons. The River House sleeps up to 6 people comfortably from the same group, (3 bedrooms - each with one high Queen Size bed per room (also a roll out cot - single bed available upon request or the large high quality sectional couch in the living room that can easily double as a comfortable bed) and there is one regular size bathroom (shower/bath). The river trail to the lower property by the Clearwater river offers a fire pit and nice lounging areas with a sandy beach at lower water levels.

On the same riverfront property, we also offer a quaint self contained Cabana that sleeps one or two guest comfortably (Queen Size Bed) with it’s own washroom and kitchenette with a South facing deck and full access to the trail leading down to the Clearwater river and fire pit by the water.

2023 River House and Cabana Accommodation Rates

River House:
$225 per night for double occupancy plus $40 extra per person per night (sleeps up to 6 comfortably).
$205 per night for single occupancy.

Cabana:
$145/night (double occupancy)

* Discounts for longer term stays:
10% off for any bookings over 4 days
20% off for any bookings over 8 days
30% off for any bookings over 15 days
40% off for any bookings over 30 days

* Minimum of 2 night stay

* Strict NO PET policy, outside smoking only

* Double occupancy rate gives access to entire house excluding the 2 downstairs bedrooms (that are for 3 or more guests).

* Please note that Check-In time is after 4 pm and Check-Out is 10 am, thank you.

*For advance reservations in high season (July & August), we can only make reservations for two nights as a minimum stay. We can take a credit card number over the email or phone to confirm a reservation.

*Rates are subject to 5% GST, 8% PST and 2% Municipal Tax.

*Cancellation Policy

Vacation Rentals fees are refundable if reservations are cancelled in writing by email at info@riveradventures.ca at least 21 days before your first scheduled night of arrival (10% administrative fees withheld). No refunds will be given for any reason if cancelled within 21 days of your stay or for "no show" upon scheduled arrival date.

Cancellations have a deep impact on small seasonal tourism businesses as ours, therefore if you possibly foresee the need to make changes due to unfortunate circumstances, we do recommend travel insurance.
